Starships are designed with the Classic Traveller format.

The Type ZC class Courier is a communications starship.

• It is a paramilitary ship and a Courier Vessel.
• Much like similar ships in the Imperium, multiple "classes" of ships have served in this role during the span of the Zhodani Consulate's existence.

Description (Specifications)

Type ZC class Courier.

1. Using a 200-ton hull, the Type ZC is primarily a Courier. It mounts a jump drive-C, maneuver drive-B, and power plant-C, giving a performance of Jump-3 and 2-G acceleration. Fuel tankage for 90.0 tons supports the power plant and Jump-3 (...additional fuel #.0 tons). Adjacent to the bridge is a ship computer Model/3. There are 9 staterooms and no low berths.
2. The ship has one hard point and one tons allocated to fire control. Installed on the hard points is a triple turret armed with two Beam Lasers and a Sandcaster.
3. There is one ship's vehicles: Gravitic Speeder. Cargo capacity is 11.0 tons. The hull is streamlined. There is no waste space.
4. The ship requires a crew of five: Pilot/Navigator, Engineer, Medic, Steward, and Gunner. The ship can carry four passengers. The ship costs MCr101.67 (...including discounts and fees). It takes 12 months to build.
