Starships are designed with the Classic Traveller format, using High Guard.

The Zukseg-class is a Seeker.

Description (Specifications)

Using a 200-ton hull, the Vargr seeker is a wide-ranging prospecting and mining vessel. It mounts jump drive-A, maneuver drive-A, and power plant-A, providing a perfor- mance of jump-I and 1G acceleration. Fueltankage for 50 tons sup- ports the power plant and one jump-I. Adjacent to the bridge is a model11 computer. There are four staterooms and one emergen- cy low berth. The ship has two hardpoints and two tons allocated to fire control. Installed on the hardpoints are t w o single turrets: each mounts one pulse laser. The weaponry is primarily used for mining operations. There is one ship's vehicle: a ship's boat. Cargo capacity (primarily for ore) is 65 tons. The hull is not streamlined. The Vargr seeker requires a crew of four: pilot, navigator, engineer, and medic. Additional crewmembers may be added as workers. The pilot operates the ship's boat. The ship does not nor- mally carry passengers. The ship costs MCr42.4503 (including ar- chitect's fees, but not standard discount; exact price may vary) and takes 9 months t o build.
