Outstanding journalism award offered byt the Travellers' Digest every seven years. The recipient, who muast be a professional journalist living and working "behind the claw", is given honorary memberaship in the Travellers' Aid Society (worth 1 million credits); he is then expected to travelthrough the region during the tenure of his award, and to submit a feature article about his latest journey once every thirteen weeks. The intent of the Digest with this award is to "promote understanding of the cultural diversity within the Imperium". A new contest is announced five years after the previous award, with the new winner informed in time for him to travel to the award ceremony on Deneb two years later.

- In 1100, the Senior Assistant Editor of the Mora World Review, Akidda Laagiir, won for his piece 'The Imperial Frontier: The Next Millenium'.
