T5 is the new version of Traveller.
Marc Miller recently stated that T5 will appear in June of 2007. He has also stated that he will direct it very closely and not trust others with production so much as before (T4). And he has several fresh ideas for the new version, as well. For one, a new milieu based in a time of great expansion for the fledgling Third Imperium (where they begin to bump up against powerful neighbors) will be developed, while sourcebooks for other milieux will be available, as well.
A new concept for T5 will be "Life Pursuits". In addition to a profession, a character can have an interest or avocation that they pursue with some zest and gain skill in.
