Traltha has a tainted atmosphere and a complete lack of surface water, making it poorly suited to sophont habitation. The system has a population between 10,000 and 10 million, lacking the industrial base to be completely self-supporting. This world contains an archaeological site with artifacts suspected to be from the now-vanished Ancients. It is a member of Third Imperium in the Trin's Veil Subsector of Spinward Marches Sector and in the Domain of Deneb. Traltha, as a member world of the Third Imperium, holds the estate of an Imperial knight, a member of the Imperial Nobility charged with overseeing the world.
Astrography & Planetology[edit]
Traltha lies in the Katarulu Cluster.
The world is a single vast desert with little accessible water. The dense atmosphere has an oxygen level too high for most people to breathe comfortably.

Point of Interest: Traltar & Vorstin[edit]
The inhabitants of Traltha claim to be descendants of humans who were transplanted by the Ancients and that their world used to be covered by great oceans until they were blasted into space by a massive bolide that was targeted against the world by an Ancient strike force during the Final War. Although destroyed, the Ancient base had nevertheless managed to protect the resident humans, the majority of which survived the strike, and somehow scratched out a living in the outback. Most of their communities are located around wells, and subsist upon agriculture.
The Traltar have a long-running fight with a local, non-sentient, lizard species known as the Vorstin, which has a nasty habit of raiding their communities for water. Local pride prevented them from accepting offworld military aid in the past, but the world's infrastructure has advanced to the point where the locals can now manufacture their own firearms, giving them a decisive advantage.
