Fully laden with water, the average Tekundu is capable of surviving several weeks without further water consumption. This additional water causes their bodies to expand, looking like they are quite fat to obese. The additional weight can cause slowed movement and clumsy behavior. As the water is consumed internally, the Tekundu returns to their normal size and shape.
