The Talokan Void is an astrographic feature lying across four subsectors located within Mavuzog Sector.
- It is a rift area of low stellar density.
- It is a barrier to interstellar trade and commerce.
Description (Specifications)
The Talokan Void is an area of lower stellar density lying close to the coreward edge of the Great Rift.
- The region measures around 16 parsecs coreward-rimward by around 12 parsecs spinward-trailing.
- It is named for Talokan, an important system lying on its rimward edge.
- It forms a natural obstacle to Jaibok expansion.
The Ostren Peninsula, a small cluster of stars, projects into its coreward edge.

History & Background (Dossier)
The Talokan Void prevents effective trade and commerce, which largely depends on Jump-2 vessels.
- The Void cannot be routinely crossed by vessels.
- It has served as a natural barrier to expansion to rimward by the Mavuzo.
- It prevents Jaibok activity within the spinward-rimward quadrant of Mavuzog Sector.

The Void was originally charted during the 400s.
