Talk:Marshal-Commandant of the Corps

There is a canon conflict here. GURPS Traveller: Ground Forces describes the highest ranking Marine officer as the Brigadier, who is responsible for the Marine regiment assigned to a single fleet. They report to the fleet admiral. Above this rank, the navy is responsible for the marines and there is no direct Marines presence at this level. There may be, during war times, a Marshal of the marines appointed to coordinate the regiments across the fleets, but only during the conflicts. See Ground Forces, p. 47, 51.
