The article that introduces Stormriders (in Challenge Magazine 30) references a desert world in Zarushagar named Duuga as their origin point. Since there is no such system currently listed, I reason that it is a former name no longer in use. A desert mainworld with an obviously Solomani name (to have replaced the original Vilani designation) is therefore a good bet. Holtan's Rock also has the benefit of an A-class starport, meaning (presumably) lots of ships to carry the creatures to other worlds, as is described in the original article.
