Basic Ship Characteristics

Following the Imperial Navy and IISS Universal Ship Profile and data, additional information is presented in the format shown here. The small craft factor indicates the number of squadrons (...of ten subcraft) carried on the ship. Tonnage on the universal ship profile is shown in kilotons (...thousands of tons) where necessary. [1]

Basic Ship Characteristics [2]
No. Category Remarks
1. Tonnage It has a central 240 ton hull carrying six 60 T pods identical to those carried by Khtukhaos. Usually two of the pods carry fuel, one contains a custom-designed 57 T shuttle, and the last three are either cargo pods, passengers pods, or a mix of the two. With only one fuel pod it can do jump-2, and relying only on its internal fuel tankage, it can still do jump-1.
2. Crew TBD
3. Performance Built at TL-14 by the major clans only, it has a jump drive capable of performing Jump-5 if the ship is configured for it, although the standard configuration only allows jump-3.
4. Electronics TBD
5. Hardpoints TBD
6. Armament TBD
7. Defenses TBD
8. Craft TBD
9. Fuel Treatment TBD
10. Cost TBD
11. Construction Time TBD
12. Comments TBD

History & Background (Dossier)

There are rumors of a variant class that has a bigger jump drive, allowing it to perform jump-5 even when carrying six pods (though four of those pods would have to carry fuel). As the engine room remains the same size, the maneuver drive would be correspondingly smaller, making this version somewhat slower in normal space.
