A has a Class A Starport, an excellent quality installation which includes all the expected amenities including refined fuel for starships, brokerage services for passengers and cargo, and a variety of ship provisions. There is a shipyard capable of doing annual maintenance, overhauls and other kinds of repair, and construction of both starships and non-starships. Most ports of this classification have both a Highport and a Downport. For a mainworld only.
B has a Class B Starport, a good quality installation which includes all the expected amenities including refined fuel for starships, brokerage services for passengers and cargo, and a variety of ship provisions. There is a shipyard capable of doing annual maintenance, overhauls and most kinds of repair, and construction of non-starships. Most ports of this classification have both a Highport and a Downport. For a mainworld only.
C has a Class C Starport, an average quality installation which includes amenities including unrefined fuel for starships, some brokerage services for passengers and cargo, and a variety of ship provisions. There is a shipyard capable of doing maintenance and other kinds of repair. Ports of this classification generally have only a downport, unless this is a trade port or system with an hostile environment mainworld. For a mainworld only.
D has a poor quality starport.
  • A Class D Starport Facility has minimal if any shipyards and can only perform extremely limited repair work.
  • This facility has many skilled personnel who can perform minor repair work.
  • This facility has refueling infrastructure and limited refining capabilities. One may purchase unrefined fuel here.
  • Starports of this class very rarely have both a Lowport and a Highport.

F has a good quality spaceport.
  • It does not have the facilities to handle interstellar starship traffic, only stellar system spacecraft.
  • A Class F Spaceport Facility has minimal if any shipyards and can only perform extremely limited repair work.
  • This facility has many skilled personnel who can perform minor repair work.
  • This facility has refueling infrastructure and limited refining capabilities. One may purchase unrefined fuel here.
  • Spaceports of this class rarely have both a Lowport and a Highport.
