Mercenary organizations licensed to operate military starships.

Licenses range from 10-ton fighters to 5,000-ton vessels, with one charter for a 20,000-ton retired battle rider used as an SDB. Most vessels are in the 300 to 1,000-ton range.

Most organizations obtain their vessels from the Imperial Navy as surplus. Nearly any ship of 50 years or older is an excellent candidate for starmerc services.
