The Spinward Marches Sector was the first well-developed sector for Traveller, and is, to date, the most published and written-about sector for Traveller RPG adventures.
- There is, to date, more adventures and story material written for the Spinward Marches Sector than any other.
- In 1979, The Spinward Marches (CT) was published and provided the first detailing of this sector.
- In 1982, The Traveller Book was published including adventures and background in this sector.
- In 1983, The Traveller Adventure was published including several adventures and further background in this sector.
- In 1985, The Spinward Marches Campaign was published including a variety of maps and storyline for this sector.
- In 1987, Imperial Encyclopedia was published.
- In 1987, the MegaTraveller Players' Manual was published.
- In 1995, The Regency Sourcebook was published featuring TNE storylines.
