The Souggvuez are a Minor Race native to Talon (Deneb 2704).

Physiology

Descended from carnivore/pouncer stock, the Souggvuez are slightly larger than humans but more delicate of frame. They are covered in tough scales and have a predator’s teeth for self-defense. Their skeleton is asymmetrical, with four arms, five front legs and three stronger back legs. They have poor vision, no sense of smell but are able to sense electrical fields.

They have a long developmental period, not reaching adulthood until aged 30. Physical aging begins about 20 years later and mental ageing when they are much, much older.

The Souggvuez have, in common with much native life on Talon, multiple genders:

The Souggvuez had developed an atomic-era culture until -300, when they were contacted by Vargr clans fleeing a failed coup in Tuglikki Sector.

Some members of the race do travel, but there are no off-world colonies despite nearby worlds with similar environments.

99.999% of the Souggvuez died during the fall of the United Followers of Augurgh in 1143
