A Silver World is a world that aspired to be a Golden World, but was unable to achieve socioeconomic optimization. Instead such worlds become specialized, and dedicated to various sophontic ends such as industrial specialization (factory worlds), agricultural specialization (farm worlds), or even urban development (city worlds). Other specializations are possible.
