Ship Agility represents excess power used by a ship to quickly maneuver, change axis, change orientation, and even dodge enemy fire.
- Simple thrust from a maneuver drive, a reaction drive, isn't the same thing.
Description (Specifications)
Ship agility is primarily a function of excess power in contemporary Charted Space. While placement of maneuver thrusters was very important in the early days of space travel when vernier thrusters, small reaction drives, were the order of the day, they are less important in an age of gravity control technology, which can be channeled or vectored in any needed direction.
