Point of Interest: Shinorasus Highport

Shinorasus orbital starport, nicknamed Shinport, looks deceptively low-tech.

• It is a delicate-looking torus, rotating around a stationary axis to simulate a 0.8G gravity.
• The higport is home to as many people as are on the surface.
• Fuel, repairs, and starships constructed at Shinorasus' starport are known for high quality and astronomical cost.
• Offworld visitors are not encouraged to stay for more than a few weeks.

History & Background (Dossier)

At TL 14, it is the most technologically advanced world in the subsector. The inhabitants of Shinorasus came from Namidshur (Deneb 2019) because of their discontent with its high law level. Many were inventors, technicians, and artisans. They agreed to have little formal government. Their sealed estates are supplied with water and oxygen released from the world's crust.
