A Satellite World is a satellite of a planet or gas giant in the system.
Description / Specifications
A satellite world is as much a socioeconomic designation as an astrophysical one. Subordinate economic status is a big part of the definition. This baffles many haughty scientists, especially those of Solomani extract.

History & Background / Dossier
Some satellites that orbit gas giants of particular characteristics may rival the desirable attractions of many more conventional planets.
It is not unknown for successful satellite worlds to so grow in socioeconomic status that they are re-designated as Main Worlds.
