Rimward Link

The Rimward Link is an astrographic feature located primarily in the Daibei Sector, Massilia Sector and Zarushagar Sector.

Description (Specifications)

The Rimward Link is a main of forty nine systems extending through five subsectors (Iingar Subsector, Standish Subsector, Annari Subsector, Mongrebi Subsectorand Rhamsteppe Subsector. The link is comprised of two great clusters and a scattering of J-1 connected mainworlds.

• The Ermi Cluster includes all mainworlds with-in four parsecs of the mainworld Ermi (Mongrebi Subsector, 3139). It is a cluster of nineteen mainworlds lying in three subsectors (Iingar Subsector, Annari Subsector and Mongrebi Subsector). Please see below for a complete listing of mainworlds associated with this cluster.
• The Zazish Expanse includes all mainworlds with-in four parsecs of the mainworld Zazish (Standish Subsector, 2001). It is a cluster of twenty five mainworlds lying in two subsectors (Standish Subsector and Rhamsteppe Subsector). Please see below for a complete listing of mainworlds associated with this cluster.
• The remaining five mainworlds lie outside of the two great clusters and are considered part of the main only. One is in the Iingar Subsector (Alikaanii), three are in the Mongrebi Subsector (Aleta, Mongrebi and Siven) and the final mainworld (Apa) lies in the Rhamsteppe Subsector.
• One mainworld lies outside the space controlled by the Third Imperium (Ossifur, Standish Subsector, 1701).

History & Background / Dossier

The highest population world on the main, with approximately ten billion inhabitants, is World (Mongrebi Subsector), 2740). The lowest population world on the main is Siven (Mongrebi Subsector, 2539) with approximately fifty inhabitants.

The Rimward Main is an important trade main running through three Sectors (Daibei Sector, Massilia Sector and Zarushagar Sector. First explored during the Ziru Sirka the main historically served and continues to serve as a major route for commerce and colonization of the Subsectors it lies in.
