This mining world's ruling clan was appointed to ownership by its Tlaukhu patrons, but subsequently fell into disfavour and risked losing control. To demonstrate the clan's value, extraction has moved to very large open-cast mines, which produce large quantities of minerals but are extremely dangerous.

Resoi has a Class C Starport, an average quality installation which includes amenities including unrefined fuel for starships, some brokerage services for passengers and cargo, and a variety of ship provisions.
