From this research, Omicron produced the SGD-313F transponder system, a theoretically tamper-proof IIF transponder system designed for all ships in the Imperium.

• In 1118, Lucan ordered the research station to begin development of a "super-weapon", a form of weapon designed to crush Lucan's foes and bring an end to the Rebellion.
• By 1128, this research was well along and several of the scientists decided the weapon being designed was too dangerous for anyone to have.
• Research Station Omicron was destroyed in 1130 by the Coronation Fleet.
