A Primitive Craft is a kind of vehicle or technological device, intended to convey sophonts from one location to another. It is also often referred to as primitive transportation.
- It conveys its passengers and/or cargo through conventional mediums.
- Very often, primitive craft consist of riding beasts, dray beasts, carts, wagons, and the like.
- It is a type of vehicle.
Description (Specifications)
Primitive craft are the staple transportation of TL:1-3 sophont societies.
Nautical environments are dominated by boats and waterbourne ships, while ground environments are typically dominated by riding beasts and various kinds of carts and wagons. Some worlds are even given to flight with various kinds of balloons, ridable flyer creatures, or unpowered gliders. A few even figure out how to use very early technology ornithopters.
