A Primitive Craft is a kind of vehicle or technological device, intended to convey sophonts from one location to another.

• It conveys its passengers and/or cargo through conventional mediums.
• Very often, primitive craft consist of riding beasts, dray beasts, carts, wagons, and the like.

Primitive craft are the staple transportation of TL:1-3 sophont societies.

History & Background (Dossier)

An Industrial Revolution typically hits most sophont societies during the technological epoch of TL:4-6 at which point, most riding and dray beasts become replaced by ground cars and other mechanical conveyances driven by an engine or power plant.
