Pilot

The role of Pilot is a professional vocation.

• A pilot is a member of a ship's crew
• An individual must be qualified (skilled) to perform the role.
• They may be called Flyers. when they command aircraft.

Description (Specifications)

Each starship and non-starship requires a pilot, who must have pilot skill. Small craft require a pilot who must have ship's boat skill.

History & Background (Dossier)

Typically, Pilots will gain their experience in Merchant Service or through Flight School or through the Imperial Navy's pilot or flight branches.

Professional Certification

An individual's skill as a Pilot is rated by their Certificate:

• Level 1 (Qualified)
• Level 2 (Competent)
• Level 3 (Experienced / Expert)
• Level 4 or more (Master)
