Pierce Worm (Creature) Synopsis[edit]

A Pierce Worm is a small, 8.0cm to 20cm long worm-like creature with a solid-looking glossy body.

Pierce Worm (Creature) Physiology & Ecology[edit]

Natural skin patterns are usually solid, but some breeders have specimens that come in segmented colors. Pierce worms are actually the larval state of a middle-sized predator from its native ecosystem on Sorel (Spinward Marches 2137). They are well suited for that planet's warm, dense atmosphere and competitive jungle. The thinner "standard" atmosphere prevents its growth to full size and keeps them dormant.

Pierce Worm (Creature) History & Background (Dossier)[edit]

Pierce worms are fast becoming an "environmentally friendly" form of rings and earrings. After being sold, these animals do not normally grow at all. In fact, their vital signs are near minimal in a standard environment.
