Overlook was not recognised as a usable system until it became a major supply route for the Vargr during the Vargr Campaigns. It was operational for nearly 30 years before the Imperium discovered that this was the case in 328 and then captured the world. In 350, the World was made the seat of the Viscount of Overlook in recognition of its efforts in the Vargr Campaigns and the presence of an extensive Imperial Army base.
Local Nobility
Overlook, as a member world of the Third Imperium, holds the estates of four members of the Imperial Nobility, who are charged with overseeing the world.
