Orvon Subsector is a relative backwater with a considerable income, but a lack of interstellar interest.

  • Despite large clusters and considerable astrographic density, a number of smaller rifts block consistent J-1 traffic through the subsector.
  • The Imperial Nobility of the subsector are seeking megacorporate interest to fund jump bridges.

Description (Specifications)

The area has several significant trade routes and is notable for reliable postal routes as well. Several of the local sub-polities have formed considerable trade agreements and postal unions. Imperial Naval patrols have been very effective at minimizing corsairs and local piracy.

Orvon, subsector P of Daibei contains 37 worlds with an estimated population of 13 billion, a per capita income of Cr5,577, and a total economy is BCr77,440. These worlds originate an interstellar trade of BCr4,068 through 33 starports (6 Class A, 10 Class B, 14 Class C, 3 Class D) employing 654,780 people. Driving this interstellar trade are four Agricultural (Ag) worlds, seven Non-Agricultural (Na) worlds, two Pre-Agricultural (Pa) worlds, six Pre-Industrial (Pi) worlds, two Rich (Ri) worlds, and one Industrial (In) world. Orvon, subsector P of Daibei contains 53 stars and 392 identified planets; 22 monostellar systems, 14 binary systems, one trinary system, and no systems with four or more stars. 32 of the 37 systems (86%) have native gas giants. There are no Asteroid (As) belts, no Desert (De) worlds, two Garden (Ga) worlds, no Ice-capped (Ic) worlds, three Poor (Po) worlds, four Vacuum (Va) worlds, and three Water (Wa) or Ocean (Oc) worlds.
