Nullkfaetskhuen supports a population of fewer than 10,000 sophonts. This system serves as the capital for the subsector. It is a Vargr dominated Non-Aligned world in the Zarthurrue Subsector of Knoellighz Sector.
Nullkfaetskhuen A546376-A Lo Cp is somewhat an enigma in Zarthurrue subsector of Knoellighz Sector in that it is the only A-rated Starport in the entire subsector. By default, this world was declared by apathetic, subsector Vargr as the subsector Capital as no other world stepped in to contest the claim. The two-thousand or so Starport and Startown residents rely on the crossroads nature of Nullkfaetskhuen, or 'Null' as they nickname the world. As the only world in the subsector with a proper shipyard, crews and materials for spaceship and starship construction are imported by a contract basis. Most of this world's contracts come from nearby polities and non-aligned, spacefaring worlds. The profits sustain this one-industry planet which has yet to grow large enough to sufficiently exploit its own hard resources. This is also perhaps due to the pack-based, Balkanized government with barely cohesive natures to keep the Starport running despite the age of the subsector and departing polities to Coreward and Spinward.
Trade passes through Nullkfaetskhuen, especially for repairs on vessels bound for other destinations. This crossroads is dependent on three other, nearby Naval Bases for protection though there is barely a threat from subsector Corsairs to begin with. Thus a peaceful, lucrative of starship construction, repair and maintenance is held by locals as an island of spacer community stopover.
Sociologists wonder at how Nullkfaetskhuen takes the time to make decisions for the subsector and expect the sparse stellar density to take heed of their advice. The explanation has been left under the heading of Vargr Charisma and the need for the A-rated Starport in Zarthurrue subsector.
