The Nebula class Starliner is a TL–14 Starliner.
Description[edit]
Designed for Trans Galactic Starlines as a long range passenger spaceship, the Nebula class Starliner has an unstreamlined, dispersed hull structure. It depends on company infrastructure at friendly ports for refueling and service. It has a long range jump 5 FTL drive, with a 1 G maneuver drive. The ship is equipped with 100 first class staterooms and 100 middle passenger cabins, and 100 low berths. The cargo bay has ample room for their luggage. The bridge is equipped with an advanced model 8 computer system. The ship is expensive to operate and is unarmed. It caters to passengers who want to travel far and fast, it also has agility 1. The long range jump drive and advanced computer system are used as selling points. The design also features an advanced TL–14 nuclear damper, these were purchased as reclaimed military surplus. They are advocated as shielding against high levels of solar wind, flares and background radiation. Health conscience passengers feel this is a worthwhile feature. There are eight service vessels. Four are larger 90 ton shuttles and four are smaller 60 ton boats. Passengers and crew enjoy individual staterooms.
History & Background[edit]
Using the Nebula-class Starliner, which is capable of Jump-5, Trans Galactic Starlines generally travels a route they informally name the "Imperial Spine." In general, the route, from rimward to coreward, starts in at Terra (Solomani Rim 1827) and proceeds through Muan Gwi (Solomani Rim 1717) thence to Kaggushus (Massilia 0402) and then Aadkhien (Core 0140) before proceeding to Capital (Core 2118). From Capital, the route splits with one leg proceeding to Antares (Antares 2421) and a second proceeding to Vland (Vland 1717) and thence to Deneb (Deneb 1925).
