The Narit class Air/Raft is a TL-11 Armored Fighting Vehicle.

Description (Specifications)

Designed and manufactured at TL–11 on Narit, for the Yimin Jiti. These Air/Rafts require a single driver and can carry three seated passengers. They can carry four metric tons of cargo and are nicknamed flatbeds because of their low profile and shape. They are frequently upgraded and modified to fulfill a variety of roles. Eighty percent of their cost is from the 2 MW fusion power plant and seventy-seven percent of their volume is fuel for that reactor, which provides a freakishly long endurance.

Yimin Jiti 3T Air/Raft, TL-11: The vehicle is unarmored with the minimum required crystaliron chassis. The vehicle is unsealed, without life support and open-topped. Passengers leaving from orbiting ships must wear vacuum suits to survive the journey. The vehicle is so light that the tiny 1m3 fusion power plant still pushes it to very high, some would say unsafe speeds. Because they are so light for their size they are very sensitive to high winds, flights in foul weather in dense planetary atmospheres can be very dangerous. These vehicles are shipped from the factory with NO installed electronics. If you want to call someone to complain about this, I hope you brought your own radio. The Yimin Jiti admire this dedication to minimalism. Once the standard Air/Raft requirements of four passengers and four tons of cargo were met, all other available space was packed with fuel. Cheaper power plants are available but the fusion reactor can go anywhere and is expensive yet environmentally independent.

Basic Vehicle Characteristics

Following the Imperial Army and IISS Universal Vehicle Profile and data, additional information is presented in the format shown here. The small craft factor indicates the number of squadrons (of ten craft) carried on the vehicle when applicable. Tonnage on the universal vehicle profile is shown in kilotons (thousands of tons) where necessary.
