Description (Specifications)
A millimeter is a frequently used unit when measuring small distances or objects.
Small organisms such as insects typically measure a few millimeters in length.
History & Background (Dossier)
The Millimeter was first defined as a unit of distance on Terra prior to the foundation of the Terran Confederation. Technologists found the Millimeter useful as the concept of the Technology Level and standardized ideas about sophont society development began to take form.[1]
