Mashnamii is a nonindustrial, oceanic water world.
- It is covered with very deep oceans with less than 1% of its land above sea level.
- The inhabitants of this world live on the roughly 1% of exposed land mass, in underwater colonies, on city ships, or similar arrangements.
- As a nonindustrial world, it requires extensive imports of outside technology to maintain a modern, star-faring society. The need to import most manufactured and high technology goods drives the price of these goods up in the open market.
- This is a "low technology" world with technology competencies well below technology standards for Charted Space.
- It is a member of the Third Imperium in the Shuna Subsector of Lishun Sector in the Domain of Antares.
- During the Long Night this world was named Ipvlimmaarir.

History & Background / Dossier[edit]
Mashnamii houses a seagoing culture transplanted from nearby Shuama (Lishun 0927). The 15,000 inhabitants live out their lives on sailing vessels, coalescing into seven small nation-fleets during the winter and separating again for the summer. Ships fly the colors of their particular allegiance and sometimes prey on foreign boats. Vessels range from one-family craft to three-masted ships carrying up to 400 people. Ironically, the parent culture on Shuama died out because of internal conflicts and Shuama is now owned by Ling-Standard Products.
Imperial High / Landed Nobility[edit]
Mashnamii, as a member world of the Third Imperium has a member of the Imperial Nobility overseeing the world.

Mashnamii has a Class E Starport, a frontier quality installation with few expected amenities. There is unrefined fuel for starships and a limited variety of ship provisions. There is no shipyard of any kind, but there may be parts and technical support for doing minor services and repair. Ports of this classification generally consist of a downport.
