The Marshal-Commandant of the Corps is the most senior appointment held by an Imperial Marine officer and is the professional head of the Imperial Marines
Note that the office of Marshal-Commandant of the Corps attracts the noble rank of Count or Viscount.
The Marshal-Commandant of the Corps is based at the Imperial Capital and sits on the Admiralty Board.
