Marine Guard Regiment

The Marine Guard Regiment was a Regiment sized unit of the Third Imperium and was part of the Imperial Marines but served under Imperial Army Command as part of the Imperial Guard.
Description (Specifications)[edit]
The Regiment guarded the Emperor's person or was deployed in defence of the Imperium as required.
It consisted of 3 Marine (Rapid Interface) Battalions.
History & Background (Dossier)[edit]
The Marine Guard Regiment was formed in 629 and was assigned to the Imperial Guard.
The Imperial Marines Regimental Band of the Marine Guard Regiment provides martial music at many Imperial ceremonials at the Imperial Palace.
