A non-industrial world, part of the Jewell Cluster located in the Jewell Subsector of the Spinward Marches. Lysen is a member of the Imperium and the system contains a Scout Base.

Lysen maintains the jump-4 route to Efate (Spinward Marches 1705) across the rift. Most of the world's population works at or is dependent on the starport and its scout base.

Lysen is defended by a number of Scout Service vessels, including two Azhanti High Lightning-class cruisers, converted to a sublight-only monitor role.

Non-Canon

Lysen's technocratic government collapsed amidst a series of major bribery scandals in the 1170s. Several communities seceded, and formed separate nations. The world's downport is itself a sovereign nation, albeit non-aligned with any major factions.
