The Liberte class Destroyer is a light warship.

Description (Specifications)[edit]

Built at the Strend (TR 0505) (world) in the Trojan Reach Sector. This fleet escort is used to keep the enormous class of TL–14 Dreadnoughts company. They have no armor nor screens. They mount a single battery of sand and a repulsor bay. They have a particle accelerator and meson gun bays. There are no marines nor vehicles embarked. The Strend Navy uses this class for a variety of utility tasks, many for which it is unsuited. There is no low watch to replace crew losses. The Jump-4 range is seen as a strength.
