Description (Specifications)

The Languljigee are a tripedal (three-legged) race of sophonts native to the chlorine environment of Lajanjigal (Reavers' Deep 1721).

Physiology & Environment (Ecology)

Shrouded in an eerie yellow-green haze, Lajanjigal is an environment extremely hostile to humans. Unprotected humans would die quickly in the corrosive chlorine which makes up the active ingredient of Lajanjigal's atmosphere. But the world is home to a complete diverse ecology which flourishes in this strange atmosphere; based on a thoroughly different body chemistry, life on Lajanjigal takes on unreal, nightmarish forms difficult for humaniti and other oxygen-breathers to understand.

History & Background (Dossier)

In 1080 they have come under the domination of the Dakaar Corporation, who uses them as a virtual slave labor force mining the various rare metals and radioactives of their home world.

The Languljigee are an active, vigorous race, perfectly-adapted to their environment and although they have little in the way of technology, they are intelligent and clever. The small population live a TL–3 existence and are not often visited by human traders.
