Kursae are a race of sophonts who settled Charted Space with slow NAFAL generation ships around 200,000 PI.

Description (Specifications)

A Parsec, abbreviated as pc, is a considerable distance, and just one parsec is considered equivalent to 0.3066 ly.

• This makes the fact that the Kursae settled a region more than 3,000pc in diameter an incredibly significant feat. That means that this species settled a sphere nearly 920 ly around.
• It is generally believed that Kursae did this using NAFAL technology, an even more impressive feat.

History & Background (Dossier)

From an unidentified homeworld somewhere in now- Charted Space, these sophonts reached out and settled nearly five thousand worlds across half the galaxy.

• Over the next thousand centuries these many worlds of the Kursae all followed a common path: a downward spiral to a comfortable low technology level where they are today… sharing a common heritage of myths about their past.
