The Khouth Subsector is defended by 30th Fleet  and the 31st Fleet.

Khouth, subsector A of Corridor contains 30 worlds with an estimated population of 66 billion, a per capita income of Cr6,442, and a total economy is BCr426,309. These worlds originate an interstellar trade of BCr450 through 26 starports (5 Class A, 9 Class B, 9 Class C, 3 Class D) employing 96,890 people. Driving this interstellar trade are one Agricultural (Ag) world, four Non-Agricultural (Na) worlds, one Pre-Agricultural (Pa) world, four Pre-Industrial (Pi) worlds, one Rich (Ri) world, and two Industrial (In) worlds. The governments in Khouth maintain seven Naval bases, six Scout bases, and one Way station. The average technology level is 9 (with most between 6 and 11). The highest technology level is 13 at Khouth (Corridor 0104) and Mikesh (Corridor 0206).

Khouth, subsector A of Corridor contains 40 stars and 312 identified planets; 20 monostellar systems, ten binary systems, no trinary systems, and no systems with four or more stars. 23 of the 30 systems (76%) have native gas giants. The Khouth Subsector has an estimated population in 1202 of approximately 635.6 million, a decline of 99% from its Pre-Collapse population. Its highest population is 594.6 million at Serk, and its highest tech level is 7 at Ofo-Nebus, Hesarus, Auritaurus and Gzorraeth. The Khouth Subsector had an estimated population in 1117 of approximately 71.91 billion. Its highest population was 65.8 billion at Mikesh, and its highest tech level was 13 at Khouth.

This subsector fared relatively well when the initial onslaught of Virus hit the subsector in 1133. Several advance reports of the attacks in the rimward Imperium had given the inhabitants of Khouth enough time to pack their belongings and "get out of Dodge." Unfortunately, there simply weren't enough ships in the region to safely deliver everyone to the safety of the Domain of Deneb. Those who remained have been subjected to decades of death, destruction and subjugation at the hands of Virus. 94% of the subsector's surviving population are the Vargr of Serk, whose advanced civil defense mechanism enabled more people to survive. Serk serves as a clandestine forward base of the Pack in the New Era. Vargr skirting the Regency quarantine laws send recon teams to Serk to evaluate future potential resettlement of the wilds and exploitation of the riches therein.
