Pre-Imperial
- The local population lived in orbital complexes
Imperial
Khouth was the subsector capitol of Khouth Subsector The last act of the Imperium in the government of Khouth was the withdrawal of the Corridor Fleet in 1117. The imperial period ended in 1118 with the arrival of the Dzarrgh Federate.
Dzarrgh Federate
When the Dzarrgh Federate took over, some of the orbital complexes in which the residents of Khouth resided were badly damaged. The Dzarrgh Governor did not believe the Regency warnings, and so world lacked the kind of contingency plan that Mikesh (Corridor 0206) implemented. Despite this, about 15% of the population of Khouth (1.3 Billion) actually managed to evacuate the planet (mostly aiming for the Regency of Deneb) before the arrival of Virus.
Fall of Khouth
The remaining population all perished in their hundreds of millions, as the Doomslayer that arrived at Khouth deliberately destroyed the orbital facilities. Most of the system's technology plummeted into the hellish atmosphere of the world below, and salvagers have only found occasional debris and some old TL–13 Navigation Beacons.
Imperial Landed Nobility (N)
Khouth, as a member world of the Third Imperium, holds the estates of three members of the Imperial Nobility, who are charged with overseeing the world.
- It holds the estate of an Imperial knight.
- It holds the fiefdom of an Imperial count.
- It holds the fiefdom of an Imperial subsector duke.
