Kervath is a ring of many small worldlets (planetoids AKA an "asteroid belt"), not capable of retaining an atmosphere or water, and barren in nature with no overt population, government, or law level.
- These worldlets would warrant hazardous environment precautions if anyone lived here.
- They could be populated if anyone had an inclination to do so...
- It is an unclaimed Non-Aligned world located in the Murada Subsector of Halcyon Sector.
Astrography and Planetology
This star system is detailed using the Fringian Variant System Description.
- Kervath lies within the Moat Rifts.

System Data
Joskoro-Kervath System
The primary is Joskoro, a dim red main sequence star. It has a luminosity of 0.007 Sols, a mass of 0.331 Sols, and a diameter of 498,000 km. (I) an exotic atmosphere radworld, (II) an exotic atmosphere radworld, (III) the Kervath Main Belt, designated the mainworld, (IV-I) a ringed large gas giant, (IV-II) a large gas giant, and (V) an exotic atmosphere bigworld form the outer system. Many of the worlds retain satellites.
Falada Subsystem
The companion is Falada, a dim red subdwarf star that orbits Joskoro at a mean distance of 296 AU (orbital position (XIII), 44.3 billion km) and has an orbital period of 8,850 years. It has a luminosity of 0.00054 Sols, a mass of 0.07 Sols, and a diameter of 91,500 km. (I) a vacuum worldlet, (III) a small gas giant, (IV) an exotic atmosphere bigworld, and (V) a vacuum iceworld form the outer system – orbital position (II) is empty. Many of the worlds retain satellites.
Mainworld Data
(III) Kervath Main Belt
(III) the Kervath Main Belt orbits within the outer system and is designated the mainworld. It lies at a mean distance of 0.7 AU from the star and is primarily made up of carbonaceous bodies with diameters of less than 50 km. The inner edge of the belt, with a higher concentration of nickel-iron bodies, is considered to lie at around 0.45 AU from the star and the outer edge of the belt, with a higher concentration of icy bodies, is considered to lie at approximately 0.95 AU. The main inhabited body is named Leask, with a mean orbital distance of 0.81 AU around Joskoro and an orbital period of 1 year 98 days. It has a long axis of 460 km, a density of 3.84 g/cm³, and a surface gravity of 0.017 G. It retains no atmosphere and has no hydrographics. Mean surface temperature: -164°C in sunlight, -220°C in shadow.
