== History and background ==
This world also served as a [[AAB branch]] during the [[First Imperium]] and later abandoned. During the [[Second Imperium]] the world was the site of a [[Scout Base]], and again abandoned.

Kaagashgiir belongs to the [[Imperial Navy]] and was originally used as a planetary bombardment range. When the navy pulled out in [[1077]] the planet was colonized under squatter’s rights by several small salvage companies who survive by selling wreckage.
