==== Tha'aash-Kaa Hakh System ====
The primary is Tha'aash, a dim red main sequence [[star]]. It has a luminosity of 0.007 Sols, a mass of 0.331 Sols, and a diameter of 498,000 km. (I) a [[trace atmosphere]] [[iceworld]], (II) a sparse stony [[planetoid belt]], (III) a [[ring]]ed [[small gas giant]], (IV) Saak Ka, an [[exotic atmosphere]] [[radworld]]: (IVa) Kaa Hakh is its only [[satellite]] and is designated the [[mainworld]], (V) a [[large gas giant]], and (VI) a small [[ice giant]] form the outer system. Many of the worlds retain [[satellite]]s.

==== Kha'tak Subsystem ====
The companion is Kha'tak, a magenta-coloured L-type brown dwarf orbiting Tha'aash at approximately 42.4 AU (orbital position (X), 6.34 billion km) and with an orbital period of 479 years 322 days. It is not luminous, it has a mass of 0.062 Sols and a diameter of 60,000 km. (I) a [[trace atmosphere]] [[worldlet]], (III) a [[small gas giant]], and (IV) a [[vacuum]] [[worldlet]] form the outer system – orbital position (II) is empty. Only the [[gas giant]] retains [[satellite]]s.

(IV) Saak Ka ([[UWP]] Y6A0000-0) is designated a [[radworld]]. It orbits Tha'aash at a mean distance of 0.97 AU (145.1 million km), within the outer system. It has an orbital period of 1 year 241 days and a rotation period of 32 days 18 hours. The axial tilt is 33 degrees. Saak Ka has a diameter of 9,554 km, a density of 7.22 g/cm³, and a surface gravity of 0.97 G. The world is extremely geologically active. Its atmosphere is rated as [[Exotic atmosphere|Exotic]], with a mean surface pressure of 2.26 bar and a composition of 89% nitrogen (N<sub><small>2</small></sub>), 9% carbon dioxide (CO<sub><small>2</small></sub>), 1% argon (Ar), and 1% carbon monoxide (CO), water vapor (H<sub><small>2</small></sub>O), nitrogen dioxide (NO<sub><small>2</small></sub>), sulfur dioxide (SO<sub><small>2</small></sub>), neon (Ne) and other trace gases. The world experiences relatively high levels of background radiation: emission rates exceed 20 rads per hour. It has no hydrosphere. Mean surface temperature: -164°C. It orbits its parent world at a mean distance of 20 diameters (200,000 km), with an orbital period of 9 days 22 hours: it is [[tidally locked]] to Saak Ka. The axial tilt is 4 degrees relative to Saak Ka. Kaa Hakh has a diameter of 3,238 km, a density of 3.05 g/cm³, and a surface gravity of 0.14 G. Tidal stresses generated by the gravitational pull of Saak Ka cause frequent geological activity. The atmosphere is rated as [[Trace atmosphere|Trace]], with a mean surface pressure of 0.06 bar and a composition of 98% nitrogen (N<sub><small>2</small></sub>), 1% methane (CH<sub><small>4</small></sub>), and 1% argon (Ar), azane (NH<sub><small>3</small></sub>), carbon dioxide (CO<sub><small>2</small></sub>), neon (Ne) and other trace gases. Around 22% of the surface is covered in sheets of water ice and methane ice. Mean surface temperature: -203°C. The atmosphere is ethereal and weak weather systems driven by the star ghost across the globe.

==== Mainworld Geography and Topography ====
Total surface area: 33 million km², Land surface area: 26 million km², Ice crust surface area: 7 million km². The surface is heavily cratered, ridged, and made up of dust and pulverised rock built up over aeons. Geysers of liquid nitrogen, liquid water, nitrogen gas and other trace gases, principally methane and carbon dioxide, are ejected from the world's interior in geologically active areas. The slow-motion jets freeze as they are released but reach tens of thousands of meters in height before falling back to the surface in huge sparkling plumes. Large areas of the surface, particularly around active vents, are covered in a dense compacted crust of water ice and methane ice.
