Irikusk Subsector is subsector I of Far Home Sector.

Description / Specifications

Irikusk subsector is named for the Irikusk system and its red giant primary star. The spinward and coreward regions of the subsector are dominated by rift regions and contain mysterious "jump shoals" , while its rimward and trailing regions are dotted with scattered systems and crossed by trade routes. Kuyt is a major trade hub and is an important shipbuilder: it is the de facto capital of the subsector.

  • Basilisk's Eye (1723 Tarchon Sector). The extremely luminous white supergiant star, lying around 145 parsecs to coreward-trailing, can be clearly seen from all of the worlds of the Subsector.
  • Demon's Eye (1621 Far Home Sector). The intensely luminous blue supergiant star, lying approximately 8 parsecs to trailing at its closest point, can be clearly seen from all of the worlds of the Subsector.
