Irikusk Subsector is subsector-I of Far Home Sector.

Description / Specifications

Irikusk subsector is named for the red giant primary star of the Irikusk system. It contains 13 systems with a total population of 4.09 billion Sophonts and is named for the Irikusk system (0730 Far Home). Kuyt (0728 Far Home) is a major hub on the Wolfs Tail star lane, the Kuyt Chain Star Lane, and the Spinward Drift Star Lane. The spinward half of the Subsector lies within the Border Rifts and contains portions of both the Harmal Deep and the Baradine Divide.

  • Basilisk's Eye (1723 Tarchon Sector). The extremely luminous white supergiant star, lying around 115 parsecs to coreward-trailing, can be clearly seen from all of the worlds lying within Far Home Sector.
  • Demon's Eye (1621 Far Home Sector). The intensely luminous blue supergiant star, lying at the center of the sector, can be clearly seen from all of the worlds lying within the Empty Stars and the Distant Fringe.
