Imperiallines 7 (magazine) is a periodical published by Far Future Enterprises and designed for Traveller 5th edition.
Description (Specifications)[edit]
Imperiallines 7 (magazine) features articles about Nobility in the Third Imperium, creating noble characters, an updated essay on planetary governments, and tables for creating Amindii words.
This issue addresses nobles in Traveller5 – but as usual, learning about one portion of the Traveller system helps the player enjoy Traveller as a whole. For example, both Marc’s article on planetary governments and Jim’s article on nobles state that the concept of a feudal interstellar state has been a fundamental idea of Traveller from the start.
This issue also walks through the creation of two nobles using Traveller5 rules. Actually, it only generates one character, but those rolls are re-used (well, 95% reused) to generate a second character as well. The result is two casual encounters for the price of one character generation: an Amindii, and a human, both barons on Regina.
Two short articles in this issue were written by Marc Miller: Planetary Governments, updated with two more codes for Traveller5, and the Word Generation article, which is almost identical to the article written up in MegaTraveller. It is inserted here to explain the word generation table in this issue, newly minted for making Amindii words.

Meta-history & Background (Dossier)[edit]
Imperiallines 7 gives the referee information on nobles and planetary governments. It also builds on the previous issue by generating an Amindii character and providing Amindii word generation tables.
Imperiallines magazine started its existence as a fanzine led by Mark Gelinas, became an insert mini-zine under GDW, and later became the FFE house periodical for Traveller 5. It is named after Imperiallines, LIC an interstellar shipping corporation serving worlds off of the main trade routes of the Spinward Marches. Imperiallines and Imperial Lines can be easily confused.
