Basis

The Imperial Code of Military Justice (ICMJ), sometimes called Military Law is a subset of the Imperial Law.

Scope

The Imperial Code of Military Justice includes the Imperial Rules of War.

Courts Martial

The ICMJ is judged in Imperial Military Courts. The Code details the establishment of such courts.

Jurisdiction

Any serving member of the Imperial Army, Imperial Navy, or Imperial Marines are subject to the ICMJ no matter what their location. Members of the Imperial Starport Authority and the Imperial Interstellar Scout Service may be subject to the code if subject to Naval or Military Command.

Any person receiving a pension, stipend, fee or retainer from the Imperial Army, Imperial Navy, or Imperial Marines are subject to the ICMJ.

Anyone operating on any planet, or otherwise, inside the Imperium, or transiting between such places is subject to the Imperial Rules of War.
