The Hudson Expanse are an astrographic feature lying across four subsectors located within Astron Sector.

  • They are rift areas of low stellar density.
  • They are a barrier to interstellar travel.

The Hudson Expanse are connected areas of lower stellar density lying within the rimward-trailing quadrant of Astron Sector.

The Expanse is considered to consist of two distinct regions:

History & Background (Dossier)[edit]

The Hudson Expanse prevents routine travel by vessels with less than Jump-4 drives.

  • They form a natural obstacle to travel.

The Hudson Expanse was originally charted during the 300s and 400s, during the Imperial First Survey.
