A Homeworld is a planetological term used by sophontologists to describe the systems or worlds on which Native Intelligent Life (NIL) is thought to have arisen.

  • Imperial scientists often use the shorthand abbreviation Hw to indicate this term.

Description (Specifications)

While most Homeworlds are located within the Habitable Zones of any particular star system, there are exotic lifeforms known to reside on worlds outside of a conventional Habitability Zone.

  • Please note that a number of species have no known homeworlds.

Worlds & Sectors (Astrography)
