The Hero class Far Trader is a civilian Far Trader.
It is a venerated ship of a past age and is rarely seen in contemporary Charted Space in its original form. However, upgraded successor models are still very common, even a few ancient hulls that have been heavily modified over the centuries and kept up to date.
Description
It is a 200dton Private Merchant. Originally a Sharurshid (Anglic: Sharurshid) built ship, it was designed to meet the trade needs of worlds not part of the Ziru Sirka (Anglic: Ziru Sirka) trade route system.

General Description & Deck Plans

History & Background
Cheap and easy to manufacture, many of this class of ships where captured during the wars. Ziru Sirka (Anglic: Ziru Sirka) negotiators generally did not demand their return. Sold cheaply to Terran bidders at scrapyard prices, they where converted into independent trading and exploration vessels.
Class Naming Practice/s & Peculiarities
Ziru Sirka (Anglic: Ziru Sirka) generally did not name ships of the class, only registry numbers. The name disigshur (Anglic: disigshur) is a form of Vilani sandwich, which Terran translation software translated as Hero. The Terran Confederation Navy designation was "Type A"
